Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar welcomed the Foreign Ministers from Nordic countries, including Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, for high-level talks aimed at deepening bilateral relations and exploring areas of mutual interest.
The meeting, held in Abuja, the 13th August 2024 served as a platform for dialogue on a range of issues, including economic cooperation, climate change, peace and security, and cultural exchange.
The both parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing diplomatic ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration, particularly in trade and investment, where the Nordic countries have expressed a keen interest in Nigeria's emerging markets.
